translation of the poem eeroju endukante

just wanted to post the translation to the poem i wrote earlier in telugu. an innocent effort and a fabulous one. enjoy this new writing by a blog follower chaitanya sravanthi. thank you chaitanya!

The moment of sleep,
A wish for a lullaby that wakes one up softly.
For roaring songs of revolution
Are no longer for me to bear, hear, anyway?

May be this moonlight
Can masquerade as the day.
For I am afraid the sun
Might not rise in disgrace today.

The dancing letters on the board
Will have to stop and learn to swim.
For thoughts no longer free,
Drown erratically in bottles of spirits.

The walk of generations into the future
May hopefully be in the direction of past.
For the days to come might be those,
When generations are ashamed to feel shame.
