more explorations! Lord shiva

Working on new findings and a fight to move out from a very influencing last series of MINNU. I have and am trying lots of things. some how being an architect i am deeply influenced by walls and what stories they can tell. especially our walls. tried this with acrylics on canvas. i started off with lord shiva. and used some bright colors. I will be shifting the color palette and also the medium of working too. Just posting to share the movement. these things helped me build more ideas and isolate my thought process which is right now junked with too many influences around by some great artists. hope you all enjoy this journey as i do :) ..love

explorations 2

It has been a fun trip all together. trying out stuff and putting some thoughts on what else can be done. if you remember my craving last time. i wanted to follow it up with painting something on those lines on canvas. here i tried  acrylics on canvas. used rollers for the back ground and then used loads of water to give it that stone effect.  Titled this ' PILLAR OF HOPE'. This i wouldn't rate w.r.t. art as this is just trying out something for a personal sake. i am sharing it for those who follow and have fun along with with me. would like to hear from you guys too. love :)

explorations -1

Its been a long time since i finished my art exhibition and one must be wondering if i was painting.  :) most of my free time is spent in this usually so like my mom says that i shouldn't be given a free time. But well my arvind 2 is taking pretty good time to complete and i have options to explore my other side. am happy to share the same. will be posting some postings regarding the journey of the same. some may be just scribblings some carvings.. all in all its fun to be there and do that. i like being in that plane of emotions. untouched thoughts.

Ok this is something to do with the chalk art i tried long time back. somewhere while exploring for my new series i wanted to try new things and this is just the part of one such journey.. didn't want to keep this in closet. i thought why not share my journey too. here i tried a pillar. on chalk. you will see the three angles of the chalk i carved. wanted to do a painting later of the same. :) hope you all have an eventful day! love

celebrating mom and dads anniverary

Past four days have been the most refreshing , enriching and breathtaking. Yesterday 13th august was my parents 34th anniversary and it became one of the most special one for them. I drove them all the way to banglore to coorg and back and to make it memorable our very dear friends in bang lore prasad and sunitha gaaru played a lovely host. All this happening without any planning and of course me being with mom dad was something special for me. nothing like a family bonding, kiran was part of us and we missed him coming with us.

and yes made a special painting for mom and dad for this occasion and am happy to have gifted them their portraits i have painted. these were black and white during their first anniversary which they wanted to see in colour :)

BEGININGS, andala rakshasi-julayi shooting and more

I don't know why i call this beginnings, but yea with lot that was happening for me in various fronts i had to channelize my thoughts and re construct some things.  Couldn't be in touch with many of you through my blogging but i had to take some time off. hope everyones doing great! :)

Let me first congratulate and wish the best for the andala rakshasi team especially hanu. on their release today. couldnt be part of this hanu's venture except a small author voice introducing the film and a moral support for this wonderful film maker, great technician and a friend.

I watched julayi yesterday and i wouldn't say it is the best of Trivikram and of what i know of him in few meetings i had, he has lot more in him. But i was very impressed  and the film has been a learning as always by this person. It is the best for trivik in delivering this time to what the requirement is.  A wonderful camaraderie of actors especially between bramhi , rajendrapradad gaaru and bunny. I love bunny's free style performance. And again the prowess of dialogues by trivik. the best one which he also told me once during a conversation

' Ikkada logicculu evvariki vaddu only magicule kaavali, anduke mana desham lo scientistla kana baba le popular'  

this summed up the film for why trivik made the film. I would say the magic here was numbers and the numbers worked at the box office. budget under control and the collections to soar with this super talk for the film. You won't be dissapointed with the entertainment in the film through dialogues.

My film shooting of arvind 2 finished its schedule  wrapping up almost 60 % of the shoot. There will be a bold look for the film and once publicity start will line up some pics. but for now a pic from mobile. the second schedule starts soon and can't wait to join this action thriller.
